The Diamond Bell® DB-04 Ant Repeller is an ideal choice for those seeking a non-toxic and eco-friendly solution to keep ants away. The DB electromagnetic technology affects ants by altering their communication and navigation systems. Ants use chemical signals and natural electric fields to orient themselves and communicate within their colony. The electromagnetic pulses generated by these devices interfere with these signals, creating disorientation and making their movement or coordination difficult.

As a result, ants perceive the environment as hostile and tend to avoid areas where the electronic repeller is active.

No. The technologies used in Diamond Bell® products do not cause any harm to people or animals.

Does it work with all types of ants?
It has been designed for black garden ants (Lasius niger) and also Argentine ants (Linepithema humile).

What is the lifespan?
Estimated lifespan of 10 years.

Does it need refills?
No refills are needed, which represents significant cost savings.

Where should I place the Ant Repeller?
Place it in the most affected area (usually kitchens, pantries, etc.), and in an outlet not shared with other appliances.

Check that the electrical phase passing through the most affected area is the same as the one in which the Ant Repeller is plugged in.

Does it cover more than one room?
Yes, up to a maximum area of 125 m² per electrical phase, since the effect of the Ant Repeller is generated by electromagnetic signals from the home’s electrical wiring, not ultrasound.

My home has 2 levels but together they do not exceed 125 m². How many Ant Repellers should I use?
In homes with more than one floor, it is suggested to use one Ant Repeller per floor (or electrical phase) if ants are present throughout.

First, cover the room, area, or floor where the ants are initially located. It is possible that protecting only the affected floor will eradicate the ants without them invading other rooms or floors in the house.

Can I plug more than one Ant Repeller in the same room?
Yes, as long as they are plugged into different phases.

Can I plug another Diamond Bell® model into the same room?
Yes, our products are fully compatible.

How long does it take to take effect?
The best results are obtained within 1 to 3 weeks, since ants, although stunned from the first moment, initially resist leaving. Keep in mind that among different ant species, the Argentine ant is the most resistant, and its removal may take longer than usual.

Can I combine it with the use of poisons?
It is not advisable to use them simultaneously, since poisons attract while the Ant Repeller drives them away, making these effects opposite.

Is it normal for the Ant Repeller to get warm?
Yes, it is normal. The Ant Repeller has a vent slot system for cooling. Make sure the bottom inlet and top outlet are not obstructed and allow space for air circulation.
