The Diamond Bell® DB-01 bracelet offers advanced protection against mosquito bites through DB sonic technology, designed to repel female mosquitoes — since only females bite, as they need blood proteins to develop their eggs. Male mosquitoes, on the other hand, feed exclusively on nectar and pollen. DB technology is safe and proven.

In this reproductive phase, females avoid male mosquitoes because they are not interested in mating. By biomimicking nature, DB Sonic Technology imitates the wingbeat of a male mosquito, causing the females —the ones that bite— to stay away from the area. For this reason, once activated, you may hear a faint sound if you bring the device close to your ear.

The bracelet is made of hypoallergenic silicone and is suitable for the whole family, including pregnant women and babies. With its compact and easy-to-use design, this bracelet ensures comfort and continuous protection during outdoor activities. Its long-lasting battery makes it ideal for extended use without the need for refills.

I hear a slight sound from my Personal Anti-Mosquito DB-01:
That’s normal — it imitates the wingbeat of the male mosquito to repel the female.

Does it work with ultrasound?
No. Ultrasound consists of very high frequencies that are beyond human hearing. That’s why the portable mosquito repeller emits a slight audible sound to mimic the wingbeat of a male mosquito.

Does it work against all types of mosquitoes?
Its effectiveness has been tested against the Common Mosquito (Culex pipiens), the Tiger Mosquito (Aedes albopictus), the Malaria vector mosquito (Anopheles gambiae), and the Dengue, Chikungunya, and Zika vector mosquito (Aedes aegypti).

The mosquitoes aren’t going away!
You may still see mosquitoes around you, but keep in mind that they are male mosquitoes. Male mosquitoes do not feed on blood, so they do not bite.

My DB-01 mosquito repeller isn’t working

  • Check that the battery is new and properly installed.
  • Make sure the switch is in the “I” position.
  • Do not block the device’s grid.
  • If you’ve checked all the above and still don’t hear the faint buzzing sound, please contact Diamond Bell Technical Support.

How long does the battery last?
The CR2032 battery provides up to 10 months of use, assuming about 4 hours per day. Replace it when you can no longer hear the faint sound.

What is its lifespan?
Its lifespan is unlimited.

Do I need refills?
No. You only need to replace the battery once it runs out.

Can I bathe with the Personal Anti-Mosquito device?
No. Water could damage the device.

Can I wear more than one device at the same time?
Yes, using multiple devices can enhance the repelling effect to cover a larger area.

Can I use different models at the same time?
Yes, our devices are fully compatible.
