The Diamond Bell® DB-01 bracelet offers advanced protection against mosquito bites through DB sonic technology, designed to repel female mosquitoes — since only females bite, as they need blood proteins to develop their eggs. Male mosquitoes, on the other hand, feed exclusively on nectar and pollen. DB technology is safe and proven.

In this reproductive phase, females avoid male mosquitoes because they are not interested in mating. By biomimicking nature, DB Sonic Technology imitates the wingbeat of a male mosquito, causing the females —the ones that bite— to stay away from the area. For this reason, once activated, you may hear a faint sound if you bring the device close to your ear.

The bracelet is made of hypoallergenic silicone and is suitable for the whole family, including pregnant women and babies. With its compact and easy-to-use design, this bracelet ensures comfort and continuous protection during outdoor activities. Its long-lasting battery makes it ideal for extended use without the need for refills.

Can the DB Ultrasonic Technology of this mosquito repellent affect babies, pregnant women, children, adults, or pets?
No, the technologies used in Diamond Bell products do not cause any harm to people or animals.

Does it work with all types of mosquitoes?
Its effectiveness has been tested against the Common Mosquito (Culex pipiens), Tiger Mosquito (Aedes albopictus), the Malaria vector mosquito (Anopheles gambiae), and the mosquito vector for Chikungunya, Dengue, and Zika (Aedes aegypti).

What is the lifespan?
Its lifespan is unlimited.

Does it require refills?
No refills are needed, which represents significant economic savings.

Where should I place the mosquito repellent?
Plug it into an outlet between 30 cm and 150 cm from the floor, free of obstacles. It is recommended for indoor use only. To protect yourself while sleeping, place it nearby at a minimum height of 70 cm from the floor.

Is it necessary to leave it plugged in permanently?
We recommend leaving it connected 24 hours a day for optimal results. Electricity consumption is only a maximum of 0.35 W (very low).

Where is it most effective?
This model is ideal for indoor spaces such as bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms, where the ultrasound spreads more efficiently in enclosed areas.

Can I place more than one mosquito repellent in the same room?
Yes, the effect will be enhanced to cover the maximum possible area.

Can I plug another Diamond Bell model into the same room?
Yes, our products are fully compatible.

I hear a slight sound when plugging/unplugging
This is normal and lasts briefly. It indicates that the device is functioning correctly.

Does it require any maintenance?
No, the device does not require maintenance or refills, it just needs to be plugged in to operate.

The mosquitoes aren’t leaving!
It may happen that mosquitoes remain inactive due to the repellent, staying still without biting.

Check the following:

  • Ensure the LED indicator lights up.
  • Ensure it emits a faint, high-pitched sound when plugged/unplugged.
  • Make sure nothing obstructs or covers the front of the device.
  • Keep it running continuously 24 hours a day.

What if the LED indicator doesn’t work?
Check if the mosquito repellent works in another outlet. If it still doesn’t function, contact Diamond Bell’s technical support team.
